The re-discovery process can be a fascinating one because it relates to the vision for your life.
During the re-discovery process, you can uncover ideas, concepts, hopes, visions and dreams that may have been buried long ago. You know, they are all of those things that have been pushed to the back of your mind because other things took precedence. It is crucial that one spends time in self-reflection. Introspection allows you to take stock of what still works in your life and what doesn’t. It’s also an opportunity to reclaim important pieces that can get lost in the busyness of life. If you don’t engage in the re-discovery process, you run the risk of missing out on living out your true purpose.
You are here for a reason.
When you choose not to press in and re-discover the hopes, visions, and dreams of your past, you may miss opportunities meant for you. This may negatively impact others in the world that have been waiting on you to help or influence them to step into their own purpose.
There are some people who might not believe each person on this earth impacts another, but I believe it’s true. The goals, visions, and dreams each of us has are meant to be shared with the world. Look at it this way, if you had an idea to create a piece of medical equipment that would change the way people with a hearing impairment could hear, how many other people would be impacted? I’ll break it down for you. YOU, the manufacturing company and employees, doctors, patients, parents and extended family and friends, and who knows who else, could be affected globally.
The world needs you.
There are so many ways that our lives positively affect others. You don’t have to be an inventor to leave a legacy. What’s your super power? Whatever it is, there is absolutely no one who can do it in the exact way you can. How might your life change if you show up for yourself–and a world just waiting for you to share your unique gifts?
Wouldn’t now be a perfect time for you to begin to re-discover your goals, visions, dreams, and live out your purpose? You have people waiting for you to encourage, impress, lead, guide, mentor, and help them live out their purpose by living out yours. How cool is that?
